Clutters are murdered
Wow it took me by surprise when the family is murdered. I guess thats why the book is called In Cold Blood. Now i want to read more to figure out what the killers do after the event, and how detective Dewey is going to solve the case. It was also neat to see how the town acted after the event.

I'm glad you liked it. It sounds like kinda a demented thing to write a book about, but I can also see where it could be definitely interesting. I think Anna read that book earlier this summer too.
I'm not 100% sure of this, but I think I remember reading this from Anna (maybe).... the book was based off of a true story... which makes it even creepier! Capote was a seriously twisted dude, which makes To Kill a Mockingbird's character of Dill so much more interesting. Harper Lee (author of TKaM) was childhood friends with Capote and based the character of Dill of of him... creepy!
So, the book is a mystery?
Cool. Gotta love a good head-scratcher.
Of course, I may have missed the point completely. If I did, ignore me!
See you in four days.
Yes I did read it and it pretty much gave me nightmares. It is a really creepy book just from the standpoint of so much focus on the killers' minds. I have read that a lot of people think that Capote sympathized with the killers. I don't know if this is entirely true, was fascinated maybe, but its still weird.
That is really creepy that it's a true story!!! AHH! people are crazy!!
I think I will pass on ever reading this book, because it sounds a little weird/scary. I hope the rest of your reading goes well and you can figure out the rest of the book.
i think i've heard of this book... and i think that it sounds interesting... nasty...but i like to pick apart people's minds and find out why they do what they do...i'm thinking about being a psychiatrist!!!
